Thanamandi temple case solved, 2 held

RAJOURI, Dec 10: The police has detained two local teenagers in the ongoing investigation of a case of theft in a temple in Thanamandi.
Both were produced in the court of Special Juvenile Magistrate. An FIR was registered in this case in Thanamandi Police Station on Sunday, after a man from Rajouri town registered complaint before police and informed about an untoward incident in an ancient temple in old Thanamandi.
Taking note, an FIR was registered and police team headed by SHO Thanamandi Nazir Ahmad Dar under the supervision of SDPO Thanamandi, Iftikar Chowdhary started investigation.
During the investigation, names of two local boys surfaces after which police team detained both of them while conducting series of raids. They have been identified as a 15 years old boy (name withheld), son of Naseer Ahmed, resident of Karyote Thanamandi and a 11- years old boy (name withheld), son of Mohammad Shakoor, a resident of Alal village.
Further investigation in the case was going on, a police spokesman said.
