JAMMU, Jan 6: Thathri Development Front here today has demanded completion of the left over works on road projects of Sub-Division Thathri.
In a handout Front president, Kuldeep Kumar Rao has urged the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah; concerned MP and MoS PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh; Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary; MLA Bhadarwah, Daleep Singh Parihar and MLA Doda, Mehraj Malik to look into the issue of left over works on road projects of the area and issue directions to the concerned authorities to take immediate necessary steps to complete such projects on priority.
Rao claimed that completion of these projects will benefit a population of five Tehsils-Kahara, Thathri, Phaqsoo, Bhella and Chirrala.
He said that Kahara-Jai road is perhaps the longest pending project in the erstwhile Doda district and this fact should be given due consideration, without any further delay.
“Sub-Division Thathri has been ignored by the successive State and Central Governments,” Rao maintained adding that Thathri is the most backward and undeveloped Sub-Division of J&K where 90 per cent population lives in villages.
