‘The-Sara’ distributes stationery items among students in border school

JAMMU, Dec 11: ‘The-Sara’ under its ‘Mission Compassion’ organized ‘Share with Schools’ initiative for the benefit of border school children at Government Middle School Spalwan.
Under the initiative, ‘The Sara’ team led by Gurjeet Kour distributed school bags, note-books, colors, drawing books, slates and other stationery material among 53 students of the school located in village Spalwan near International Border in Hiranagar Tehsil of Kathua district.
Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kathua TR Mangotra was chief guest on the occasion, while Priyanka Verma, DySP (Probationer), Kishori Lal ZEO Hiranagar, Manpreet Kour Police DDC Jammu, Neelam Rajput, Panchayat Members of Chak Bhagwana and a large number of teachers, parents and students were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Mangotra assured to extend every possible assistance to ‘The-Sara’ in their effort to support the poor students of the border area.
DySP Priyanaka Verma conducted the interactive session with students and motivated them to do well in life.
Dr Raminder Jit Singh Director ‘The-Sara’ said that their organization will continue with the efforts to safeguard their future of the children.
Shiv Dev Singh Headmaster GMS Spalwan presented vote of thanks.
