Theatre is for daredevils, says Rashi Bunny at Natrang Talk Show

JAMMU, Sept 10: Natrang’s International Theatre Talk Show featured internationally awarded Solo Performer, Rashi Bunny today on Natrang’s Facebook Page where she shared her ‘Vision of Theatre’ with the global audience.
Director Natrang, Padmashri Balwant Thakur expressed gratitude towards the theatre luminaries of international repute who enlightened theatre enthusiasts with their wisdom and intellect.
Introducing Rashi Bunny, Natrang artist, Vrinda Sharma informed that immensely talented Rashi is Founder Director of Banjara Theatre Group and is known for her unique experiments in design and direction of powerful plays and experiential workshops across the nation for all ages and backgrounds.
Recipient of Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar for her luminous direction in plays on fundamental issues of society, Bunny is perhaps the only Indian Woman, Actor- Director who has trained students at 4 IITs and IIMs along with teachers and youth throughout premier Institutes of India.
In a spirited session, Rashi expressed her belief and vision of theatre. For her, this field belongs to courageous and authentic people, who are not driven by convenience.
She considers actors to be a bridge between audience and the content (idea) and to fulfill this duty, he/she shall possess many intrinsic qualities and to let go one’s ego and to liberate oneself from him/herself is very important.
As per Rashi a dramatist has to be relevant to the times and it is desirable to have the capacity to collaborate in a deeper sense.
