JAMMU, Dec 9: Unidentified thieves broke into a mosque in Raina Mohalla, Thannamandi today, stealing valuable items, including inverter batteries.
The robbery has left the local community shaken and distressed.
Imran Raina, a resident, condemned the theft and urged authorities to take immediate action to apprehend the culprits.
He also raised concerns about individuals allegedly involved in drug abuse spotted near the mosque, which he believes could pose a threat to the safety of the area.
Local residents are calling for increased security measures and enhanced police surveillance to protect the mosque and address the drug-related issues in the neighbourhood.
