JAMMU, Oct 9: Kanachack Police solved a theft case by recovering ten stolen mobiles and accessories worth around Rs 1 lakh.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a person namely Shammi Kumar, son of Kesar Chand of Bathera regarding theft at his shop during the intervening night of on 22-23.09.2022.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 117/2022 under sections 457 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Kanachack led by SHO Inspector Rahul Mahajan under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sunil Singh did strenuous efforts and with the help of CCTV footages of the area finally apprehended three juveniles.
On their disclosure, 10 stolen mobiles and 4 headphones/airpods amounting to about Rs 1,05000 were recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
