RAJOURI, Sept 25: The police claimed to have solved a theft case with the recovery of Rs 1.85 lakh and two mobile phones today.
The theft took place at Bus Stand, Rajouri where the bag of one Ankul Kumar Gupta of Jammu was stolen by an unknown person on September 11. He lodged a report with Rajouri police. He also revealed that besides Rs 1.85 lakh cash there were his two mobile phones in it. The police started tracking the phones and later managed to round up one Rajinder Kumar, son of Girdhari Lal of Samba. The cash and two mobile phones were also recovered. He was arrested and a case registered against him.
