Theft case solved, stolen items recovered

JAMMU, May 15: Miran Sahib Police today solved a theft case by arresting a thief and recovering stolen items on his disclosure.
“Acting on a complaint lodged by one person namely Satvir Singh son of Chamail Singh, resident of Kotli Mian Fateh regarding theft of an LED TV, a case under FIR Number 94/2023 U/S 457/380/IPC was registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and investigation started,” a police spokesman said.
He said during investigation, a team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna and assisted by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq rounded up the suspected person namely Rajat Singh son of Parshotam Singh, resident of Kotli Mian Fateh with the help of CCTV footages of the area.
“During questioning, the accused confessed his involvement in the theft case and on his disclosure, stolen Samsung LED TV along with one motorcycle bearing chasis number MD2A11CZ6DCL26126, 5 water-pump motors and one drill machine, were recovered from his possession,” the spokesman said, adding, further investigation of the case was going on.
