Theft case solved; stolen tractor-trolley, iron pillar recovered

JAMMU, Feb 3: Bishnah Police today claimed to have solved a theft case by arresting two thieves and recovering a stolen tractor-trolley as well as an iron pillar on their disclosure.
“Acting on a written complaint lodged at Police Station Bishnah by a person namely Davinder Singh son of Krishan Singh, resident of Nepal (at present living at Munshi Brick Kiln, Sikenderpur, Bishnah, Jammu) that two persons namely Tayia Gujjar and Shonku Gujjar, both residents of Skindarpur (Bishnah) have stolen an iron pillar and a tractor trolley from the premises of the Brick Kiln, a case under FIR Number 37/2023 U/S 379 IPC was registered in Police Station Bishnah and investigation got started,” a Police spokesman said.
He said during investigation, a team of Police Station Bishnah under the supervision of SDPO R S Pura Surinder Singh, and led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Vikram Sharma did strenuous efforts and with the help of technical assistance, arrested the accused persons namely Shokat Ali alias Shoki Gujjar son of Hassan Mir and Amjad Khan alias Tayia Gujjar son of Alam Din, both residents of Skinderpur, Bishnah.
“On the disclosure of the accused, the stolen items were recovered,” he said, adding, both the accused persons were also involved in a case under FIR Number 179 of 2019 of Police Station Satwari.
He said further investigation of the case was going on.
