Theft case worked out in 24 hours

JAMMU, Apr 14: Police in Satwari area of Jammu District claimed that they have worked out a theft case within 24 hours.
A police spokesperson said that an FIR Number 70/2024 Under Section 379 of the IPC was registered on the basis of a complaint of theft of a Pulsar motorcycle from Gadigarh area.
On this, he said, a special team led by Inspector Sushil Sharma SHO Satwari under the supervision of SDPO South ASP Kartik Shrotriya and overall supervision of SP South Ajay Sharma was constituted by SSP Jammu, Dr Vinod Kumar, to recover the stolen vehicle.
During investigation, the police spokesperson said that several suspects were rounded up for sustained questioning.
One of them, confessed to his involvement in the crime and on his disclosure, the stolen two-wheeler was recovered from Manguchak area adjoining Miran Sahib.
