UDHAMPUR, Oct 18: Acting swiftly, Udhampur Police today worked out a theft case in gold ornament shop and arrested the thieves besides recovery of stolen jewellery and precious stones, here today.
One Rakesh Verma son of Kuldeep Verma of Janipur Jammu, presently putting up at Main Bazar Udhampur, lodged a written report at Police Station Udhampur that someone had stolen gold ornaments and precious stones from his shop.
Acting on the complaint, Police rounded up number of suspects and during interrogation one person namely Tarun Dolai of Kolkatta (West Bengal) confessed and on his disclosure all the stolen property was recovered within a few hours.
