Theft cases solved

JAMMU, Mar 28: 04. Police Stations Bahu Fort and Arnia today claimed today to have solved a theft case each in their respective jurisdiction.
“A complaint was lodged at Police Station Bahu Fort by one person namely Rakesh Kumar son of Ravail Singh of RS Pura Ansa stating that his tipper bearing registration number JK02AD-2639 was stolen from Satyam Road, Trikuta Nagar Jammu,” a police spokesperson said.
He said after registering a case, investigation was started and a police team led by SHO Police Station Bahu Fort Inspector Nayat Ali with the help of CCTV footages of the area finally recovered the stolen vehicle from Jalandhar in Punjab and the suspected person was arrested.
Meanwhile, Arnia Police solved a theft case of a buffalo and handed over the stolen buffalo to its original owner. The recovery was made by a police team led by SHO Police Station Arnia, Inspector Tilak Raj.
