Theft cases solved

RAMBAN, Apr 27: Dharamkund Police today claimed to have solved a theft case by arresting a thief and recovering stolen items.
A police spokesman said that a theft case vide FIR number 12/2022 u/s 379 IPC was registered on April 24 at Police Station Dharamkund on the application submitted by Gopal K Sharda (Head HR Admin, Gammon Engineers and Contractors Private Limited) wherein he stated that Two Hydraulic Jacks worth Rs one lakh have been stolen from the construction site T-48 Railway Line Project at Kohli Dharamkund.
Accordingly, a team of Police Station Dharamkund led by PSI Waqar Beigh rounded up many suspects and after sustained questioning and hectic efforts, arrested one accused person namely Mohd Farooq Mochi son of Mohd Rahim Mochi, resident of Neel Battoo (tehsil Banihal, district Ramban).
During the process of investigation, two stolen hydraulic jacks were recovered from the accused who is driver of L&T Private Limited and he stole two Hydraulic Jacks from the T-48 Kohli railway site tunnel.
