Theft cases solved in Arnia

JAMMU, Jan 14: Police in Arnia area here claimed to have successfully solved two theft cases, recovering two stolen motorcycles and a cash garland.
A police official said that one of the incidents was reported when the complainant informed the police that his motorcycle, parked outside his house, was missing.
In a separate case, the complainant reported a cash garland stolen, he said.
Based on these complaints, he said, two FIRs under the relevant sections of the law were filed, and investigations were launched immediately.
He said a special team was formed, led by the SHO Arnia and supervised by SDPO RS Pura and SP HQRS Jammu.
Using intelligence and technical inputs, including CCTV footage, the police team was able to identify the suspects and recover both the stolen motorcycles and the cash garland, he said.
