Theft cases solved; two burglars arrested with stolen items

DODA, Feb 1: Gandoh Police worked out theft cases with the arrest of two burglars and recovery of stolen items.
As per police sources, a written complaint was lodged by Principal Government Higher Secondary School Gowari Gandoh with Police Station Gandoh stating that some unknown thieves have stolen items from the school valuing in lakhs.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 05/2022 under Sections 457 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Gandoh and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a special police team from Police Station Gandoh conducted raids at several suspected locations and finally arrested two thieves identified as Ishrat Ali, son of Noor Mohd Malik and Muneer Ahmed Wani, son of Abdul Rasheed, both resident of Hilore Gandoh.
On their disclosure stolen items of school have been recovered. The recovered material include three solar plates of 6×3 dimension, three TFT screens, two inverter batteries, one speaker with Bass tube, one web camera, one kettle, one solar converter, one UPS computer, two CPUs, three keypads and two computer mouse.
The investigation of the case is in progress and more recoveries of theft are expected from the accused persons, said police.
It is worthwhile to mention here that aforesaid accused persons have also confessed about the theft committed in Middle School Dudwar Gandoh in which case FIR Number 80/2019 under Sections 457 and 380 RPC was registered in Police Station Gandoh and stolen items have been recovered.
Police team led by SHO Gandoh Inspector Vikram Singh and assisted by Incharge Police Post Changa PSI Anil Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Gandoh Shazada Kabir Matoo and SSP Doda Abdul Qayoom.
