Theft in Gangyal

JAMMU, Mar 10: Unidentified burglars struck a residential house and decamped with gold ornaments worth lakhs of rupees and household goods in Lower Jallochak area under the jurisdiction of police station Gangyal late last night here.
The burglary came to light today morning when Kuldeep Sharma, a priest by profession, and his wife, who had gone to their native village in Jandrah, came back to home and found the steel cupboard open and the jewellery boxes empty.
According to the family, the burglars also took away a laptop and other household items by breaking open the door when there was no one in the house last night.
Kuldeep Sharma had recently constructed the house in the area.
The police has registered a case and started investigation to nab the culprit.
