POONCH, Aug 6: Donation box in a temple was found stolen in a village near Mendhar, here today.
Reports said that donation box was found stolen in the temple of Baba Jyot Nath, located in the village Dachal area near Mendhar town.
On being informed, SHO Mendhar reached at the incident site and after taking stock of the incident, assured the people that the thieves would be caught soon.
Gopal Sharma, president of the temple committee, said that when he reached the temple at 5 o’clock in the morning to worship, he saw that all the goods were scattered and the donation box was missing.
