JAMMU, Nov 12: Burglars struck in the Government quarter of PDP MLA from Dooru Syed Farooq Ahmad Andrabi and decamped with items worth lakhs of rupees in Gandhi Nagar.
As per police sources, thieves barged into a Government quarter 28/C allotted to MLA Dooru in Gandhi Nagar and decamped with all the furniture, LED, utensils, matting, clothes and everything which was in the quarter.
After noticing the theft in the quarter, the PSO of the MLA Dooru namely Imtiyaz Ahmed, son of Mohammad Hussain lodged a complaint in this regard with police.
A case under FIR Number 282/15 and Section 380 RPC has been registered at Gandhi Nagar police station and manhunt has been launched to nab the thieves.
