REASI, Sept 11: With the arrest of two thieves, Police claimed to have worked out theft at PHE Pump House, Aghar Ballian (Numble), Stage-0, near Chenab River stone crusher and PHE Pump House, stage-1 near Keshav Gau Shala.
As per the FIR at Police station Reasi, registered on a written complaint, some unknown thieves took away the copper wire approximately 190 mtr and Monoblock submersible pump (KSB MAKE) from the PHE Pump House. Also some electronic items like Copper cable -180 mtr, 150 KVA voltage Stabilizer copper item, Monoblock submersible pump ( KSB Make) worth lacs from PHE Pump House Aghar Ballian Stage- 1 near Keshav Gau Shala, Reasi were stolen.
During investigation, Police team rounded up two suspects who confessed their involvement in the theft. They were identified as Suraj Kumar, son of Rakesh Kumar of Seela (A/P Gran More Reasi) and Sukhdev Singh, son of Kripa Ram, resident of Charalakote, Bhomag, Reasi.
On their disclosure, Police team recovered the stolen property. Further investigation in the case is going on to unearth their links in other theft cases in the district.
