POONCH, July 19: A theft incident was reported in Govt Middle School, Samote village falling under Education Zone Surankote of district Poonch during which thieves took away rice bags of Mid Day Meals and MIC system.
Official sources said that after the summer vacation concluded and schools were opened, it was found that a door of room of the Govt Middle School Samote was opened. When the staff checked, they noticed that three rice bags out of eight and one MIC system was taken away by thieves, The higher authorities visited the school and later police was called for registering a case.
Station House Officer Surankote Insp. Rajesh Thapa when contacted said that the matter is being inquired, CCTVs are being checked and accordingly action shall be taken in this regard.
