POONCH, Sept 27: A theft incident was reported in Govt High School Khaneter situated on Jammu-Poonch highway.
Incharge Headmaster, Arshad Naqvi said that during the opening time of school, staff found that the lock of four rooms were broken which indicated the theft incident in the school after which the staff informed police. He said the staff did not check the complete record but initially it was found that few almirahs were broken, one laptop was stolen along with CPU and UPSC and record may also have been taken away but that would be confirmed after checking completely.
Meanwhile Police have registered a case, FIR number 159/2023 under sections 457, 380 IPC in Police Station Poonch and further investigation was taken up.
