SRINAGAR, June 12: Sopore police arrested a thief and recovered stolen cash worth Rs 2,56,000.
As per police sources, Police Post Fruit Mandi received a complaint from the owner of SFT Traders Sopore regarding the theft of cash from the shop at Fruit Mandi Sopore during the intervening night of June 9 and 10.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 153/17 was registered and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, police arrested the thief, who happens to be the salesman on the shop. He has been identified as Ghulam Mohammad Dar, son of Ali Mohammad Dar of Jutiyal Kupwara.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
