JAMMU, Aug 3: Police today arrested a thief and recovered stolen cash worth Rs 20,000 from his possession.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Akhnoor Police Station conducted raid and arrested a burglar, who has been identified as Ravi Kumar, son of Bal Krishan of Pangari, tehsil Akhnoor. On his disclosure, police recovered stolen cash worth Rs 20,000, he added.
Further investigation into the case registered with Akhnoor Police Station under FIR number 181/13 under Section 457/380 RPC is going on.
Police party led by SHO Mahesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Rayees Mohammad Bhat.
