UDHAMPUR, Jan 18: Udhampur Police arrested a thief and also recovered the stolen cash amounting Rs 85000.
The theft had taken place in the shop of Manoj Kumar of Jib and a case FIR number 07/2022, under section 457/380 IPC was registered in this connection in Police Station Rehambal.
The arrested thief was identified as Mohd Asgar, son of Manzoor Ahmed of Chak Rakwalan, who confessed to have committed the offense. On his disclosure, stolen cash of Rs 85000 was recovered.
