JAMMU, July 29: City Police arrested a thief and recovered stolen items from his possession today.
As per police sources, while a case registered FIR Number 41/2021 under Sections 454 and 380 IPC, a team from Police Station City conducted series of raids and finally apprehended a thief, who was identified as Deepak Kumar alias Deepu, son of Amit Kumar of Kalika Colony Bagh-e-Bahu district Jammu.
On his disclosure, police team recovered one stolen LCD, one gas cylinder and one induction.
Further questioning of the thief is going on to ascertain his involvement in other theft cases.
Police team led by SHO City Inspector Deepak Katoch made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO City North Sharad Kalu and SP City North Mohita Sharma.
