Thief arrested, stolen items recovered

JAMMU, June 24: Pacca Danga Police arrested a thief and recovered stolen items from his possession.
As per police sources, today a written complaint was lodged by a person namely Bashir Ahmed, son of Gul Mohammad of Verinag Kapran District Anantnag Kashmir, at present Ustad Mohalla with Police Station Pacca Danga stating that some unknown persons/culprits have stolen 2 LPG cylinders and one cycle from outside his rented house.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 76/2022 under Section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Pacca Danga and investigation started.
During the course of the investigation, a team from Police Station Pacca Danga led by SHO Inspector Raghubir Singh was constituted under the supervision of SDPO City Sharad Kalu and SP City Kulbir Handa.
The team put in hectic efforts and finally arrested the thief, who was identified as Mukal Kulotra, son of Bharat Bushan of Krishna Nagar District Jammu.
On his disclosure, stolen cylinders and cycle were recovered. Moreover, the accused is a notorious criminal and was involved in theft cases registered at Police Stations Bakshi Nagar and Bus-Stand Jammu.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
