REASI, June 4: Bhawan police arrested a thief and recovered stolen mobile phones and cash from his possession.
As per police sources, a team from Bhawan Police Station arrested a thief and recovered stolen mobile phone VIVO-V9 having cost of Rs 23000, Apple i-Phone 5S having cost of Rs 24000, Jio WiFi device having cost of Rs 1999 and cash of Rs 4500.
The accused identified as Rashpal Singh, son of Kulwant Singh, a resident of district Amritsar Punjab has been arrested in a case registered under FIR Number 3/18 under Section 379 RPC with Police Station Bhawan.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain his involvement in other theft cases.
Police team led by SHO Bhawan Inspector Rajesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SSP Reasi Tahir Sajjad Bhat.
