JAMMU, Mar 29: Satwari Police arrested a thief and recovered stolen motorcycle from his possession.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged at Police Station Satwari regarding theft of a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02BB-4233.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 72/2021 under Section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Satwari and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Satwari led by SHO Inspector Nishant Gupta with the help of CCTV camera footages of the area and other technical aid finally arrested the thief, who was identified as Nand Kishore, son of Heera Lal Ahirwar of Madhya Pradesh, at present Digiana Ashram District Jammu.
On his disclosure, stolen motorcycle was also recovered.
Further investigation of the case is going on to ascertain his involvement in any other case.
