Thief arrested with stolen gold ornaments, motorcycle

JAMMU, July 17: Bishnah Police arrested a thief and recovered stolen gold ornaments and motorcycle.
As per police sources, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Bishnah by a lady namely Neelam Kumar, wife of Pawan Kumar of Bakshi Colony, Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu regarding theft from her house.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 107/2022 under section 382 IPC was registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
During the course of the investigation, a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Pawan Dogra was constituted under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta.
The team did strenuous efforts and after connecting various leads finally rounded up one suspect namely Anil Singh alias Dana, son of Balwinder Singh of Moghlan Tehsil Teryath District Rajouri.
On sustained questioning, he confessed his involvement in the crime. On his disclosure, 5 gold rings, 1 lady purse, artificial jewellery and one motorcycle were recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
