JAMMU, Oct 8: Chinore Police arrested a thief along with stolen gold and silver ornaments.
As per police sources, on October 2 this year, a complaint was lodged by a man namely
Balvinder Singh with Police Post Chinore regarding theft of gold and silver ornaments by some unknown persons from his house situated at Kamal Nagar area of Bantalab.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 340/2022 under sections 457 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
To work out the case, a team from Police Station Chinore led by PSI Rajesh Kumar was constituted under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Tilak Raj and SDPO Domana Sunil Singh.
The team put in hectic efforts and finally arrested the thief, who was identified as Shiv Bhat, son of Roshan Lal Bhat of Kamal Nagar Bantalab District Jammu.
On his disclosure, the stolen gold and silver ornaments were recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
