JAMMU, Oct 18: Jhajjar Kotli Police arrested a thief and recovered stolen items from his possession.
As per police sources, while investigating a case registered under FIR Number 167/2021 under Section 379 IPC, a team from Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by SHO Inspector Devinder Singh after strenuous efforts arrested the thief involved in the case and seized a Scorpio and tools used for burglary.
The arrested thief was identified as Altaf Hussain, son of Shah Manshah of Sitni Bye Pass Nagrota.
During further investigation, police team also recovered 2 stolen tyres (1 with rim and 1 without rim) on the disclosure of arrested thief are Dansal road near Domail.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain his involvement in other theft cases.
