JAMMU, June 26: Talab Tillo Police arrested a thief along with stolen items.
As per police sources, on June 23 this year, a written complaint was lodged at Police Post Talab Tillo by a person namely Rinku Sharma, son of Baldev Raj Sharma of Friends Lane pertaining to the theft at his rented house.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 73/2022 under sections 454 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Post Talab Tillo led by PSI Rajesh Kumar was constituted under the supervision of SHO Nowabad Inspector Vijay Sharma and DySP Headquarters Swati Sharma.
The team did strenuous efforts and finally nabbed the thief, who was identified as Nikhil Verma, son of Raj Kumar Verma of Bakshi Nagar District Jammu.
On his disclosure, stolen item including a laptop, a trimmer and sunglasses were recovered. One more stolen laptop was recovered from his possession.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
