JAMMU, June 22: Bakshi Nagar Police arrested a thief along with stolen LEDs and Rs 10,000 cash.
As per police sources, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Bakshi Nagar by a person namely Parminder Paul Singh, son of Joginder Singh of Bakshi Nagar, District Jammu regarding theft of three LEDs and Rs 10,000 cash from his shop.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 100/2022 under Sections 454 and 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Bakshi Nagar and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Bakshi Nagar led by SHO Inspector Harjeet Singh under the supervision of SDPO West Rahul Nagar was constituted.
The team did strenuous efforts and finally arrested the thief, who was identified as Varun Roy Soodan, son of Vikas Soodan of Resham Ghar Colony, District Jammu.
On his disclosure stolen items were recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
