JAMMU, Mar 2: Bagh-e-Bahu Police arrested a thief within 24 hours and recovered stolen cash from his possession.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a man namely Madan Lal of Bahu Fort District Jammu with Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu regarding theft of Rs 12,000 cash from his house.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 19/2022 under relevant Sections was registered at Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu and investigation started.
During the course of the investigation, a team from Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu led by SHO Inspector Arjun Singh Chib after hectic efforts finally nabbed the thief and recovered stolen cash from his possession.
The arrested thief was identified as Deepak Kumar, son of Amit Kumar alias Manga, a resident of Kalika Colony District Jammu.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
