JAMMU, Dec 28: In a major achievement, Police in Udhampur district booked one of the notorious and hardcore thief Anil sharma S/o Dev Raj R/o Cheri Sial tehsil, district Udhampur under Public Safety Act.
Giving details, Vinod Kumar, SSP Udhampur that the said thief was a habitual criminal and number of times arrested in different cases of heinous nature including abduction & theft besides other criminal cases.
A dossier with regard to his criminal activities was prepared and submitted before District Magistrate, Udhampur Dr. Kritika Jyotsna, who after careful consideration issued orders of his detention under Public Safety Act.
The warrant was executed by SHO Udhampur inspector Raghubir Singh.
