REASI, Jan 16: Cops here today arrested a thief and recovered stolen goods from him.
Acting on the complaint from a pilgrim at Police Station Bhawan regarding theft of three mobile phones along with other items worth Rs. 60,000, a case in FIR no. 02/2023 U/S 379 IPC was registered and investigation started by Police Station Bhawan.
A police team led by Kyatimaan Khajuria, SHO Bhawan rounded up some suspects and finally successfully recovered three mobile phones and stolen property worth Rs. 60,000 from one Adrash alias Bitu, son of Anil Pujari, of Pichhore District in Gwalior who was arrested.
The whole operation was conducted under the supervision of Amit Bhasin, SP Katra.
Amit Gupta, SSP Reasi said that Reasi Police is committed for safety and security of the pilgrims and general public.
