KATHUA, June 22: Some unidentified thieves broke into three different houses in Shiva Nagar area of the district and decamped with cash and gold last night.
A police spokesman said that some thieves barged into the house of Prof NK Gupta, son of Nanak Chand of Shiva Nagar and decamped with gold ornaments worth Rs 3 lakh and cash ranging between Rs 6,000 and Rs 10,000.
Meanwhile, some unidentified thieves broke into the house of PC Bhagat and Karan Singh of the same area and decamped with gold and cash.
Cases under relevant sections stands registered at Police Station Kathua and investigations started.
