Thieves decamp with cash, gold jewellery

JAMMU, Mar 14: Some unidentified thieves today struck into a house in Upper Paloura area and decamped with over one lakh cash and gold jewellery.
As per police sources, some unidentified thieves today struck into the house of Mohammad Sagir, son of Mohammad Din of Upper Paloura and decamped with Rs 1.2 lakh cash and gold jewellery worth Rs 70,000.
Family members after retuning home noticed that the household items were scattered and found that the Rs 1.2 lakh and gold jewellery worth Rs 70,000 missing and informed the police.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Janipur police station and investigation started.
