JAMMU, Aug 13: Thieves barged into two houses in the jurisdictions of Gangyal and RS Pura Police Stations and decamped with gold ornaments and other items.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by Tanjeet Singh, son of Gurmeet Singh of Baba Fareed Nagar Sehora with Police Station Gangyal stating that some unknown persons entered into his house and decamped with gold chain weighing 1.5 tolas, 1 laptop, 1 iphone, 1 Galaxy Tab and Rs 9000 cash.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 95/2020 has been registered at Gangyal Police Station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a complaint was lodged by Ashwani Kumar, son of Kartar Chand of Chak Aslam with Police Station RS Pura stating that some unknown persons barged into his house and decamped with Rs 50,000 cash and gold ornaments worth around Rs 3 lakh.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 170/2020 has been registered at RS Pura Police Station and investigation started.
