Thieves decamp with gold, other valuables from house in Jourian

JAMMU, Oct 22: Unidentified thieves decamped with gold and other valuable items from the residence of a Central Reserved Police Force (CRPF) jawan in Jourian area.
Police have registered a case under the relevant sections of the law and started further investigation of the matter.
According to police sources, one Neha Devi of Nazla Chak Village falling under the jurisdiction of Police Post Jourian, whose husband is a CRPF man, and posted outside the State, had gone to the house of her father on the day of Karwa Chauth when thieves barged into their house and decamped with a gold chain, three rings worth Rs 1 lakh and Rs 20000 cash besides other valuable items.
Soon after getting the information, a police team reached at the spot and started investigation into the matter. So far, no arrest has been made in the matter.
