Thieves decamp with gold, silver ornaments, cash

JAMMU, Nov 29: Thieves decamped with gold and silver ornaments viz cash from the areas, falling under the jurisdictions of Bakshi Nagar and Peer Mitha Police Stations.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged a patient’s attendant namely Shivani, daughter of Subash Chander, a resident of Vijaypur District Samba with Police Station Bakshi Nagar stating that some unidentified person(s) have decamped with her Rs 1.50 lakh cash near Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of GMCH Jammu.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 193/2020 under relevant Sections has been registered at Bakshi Nagar Police Station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a complaint was lodged by Vijay Kumar, wife of Balbir Sharma, a resident of Sarajan Dhakki District Jammu stating that some unidentified persons entered into her house and decamped with Rs 55000 cash, 145 grams gold ornaments and 340 grams silver ornaments.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 67/2020 under Section 380 IPC has been registered at Peer Mitha Police Station and investigation initiated.
