Thieves decamp with lakhs of rupees from shops

SAMBA, Feb 24: Burglars strike two cosmetic shops on a border road here and decamped with lakhs of rupees last night.
The shops were owned by Bushan Pargal son of Rattan Chand of Ward No. 12 Samba and Varun Gupta son of Vijay Kumar of Parel Samba.
Bushan Pargal informed that when he opened shop this morning he found the back side gate of the shop broken and the locker also broken and the cash of rupees one lakh missing after which he informed police.
Another shopkeeper Varun Gupta said thieves came from behind the shop and took away rupees four lakh along with necklaces from both shops.
After receiving the complaint, police arrived at the spot and they took stock of the situation.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigations.
