KATHUA, Aug 14: Thieves decamped with Rs 90,000 (ninety thousand) in cash and 100 grams of gold from Shiv Nagar, Kali Bari area, today, falling under the jurisdiction of Kathua Police Station.
According to the police spokesman, thieves decamped 90 thousand cash and 100 grams of gold in Shiv Nagar from the house of Dr Mohinder Pal by breaking the door of the house during late last night.
It may be recalled that two days back, thefts had taken place in the two shops in the same area. Earlier in the day combine team of police and army conducted checking to find some suspects/anti-national elements on the eve of Independence Day, in the area, but no suspicious element was found. Contrary to it the thieves under very nose of the security agencies decamped with cash and gold from a residential house in the area.
