UDHAMPUR, May 8: Some thieves broke open a shop at Battal Balian and decamped with cash and goods worth over Rs 2 lakh.
“The theft occurred last night at Madan General Store,” Police sources said while adding that the shop belonged to Madan Kumar, resident of Battal Balian (Udhampur).
They said owner of the shop came to know about the theft in the morning after which he lodged an FIR at Udhampur Police Station, which had started investigation into the case.
