JAMMU, Dec 25: Police claimed today that they have arrested the third accused in the RS Pura shoot out case.
On December 14, 2023, a case FIR number 182/2023 Under Sections 307, 323, 34 IPC and 4/25 Arms Act was registered at Police Station RS Pura on the written complaint of one Gulshan Billa son of Vijay Kumar of Rangpur Sidhrey, Tehsil RS Pura.
On this, two accused were arrested, who disclosed the name of another accused, Raman Singh of Rakh Flora, Tehsil RS Pura, District Jammu, who allegedly fired upon the victims and later went into hiding.
Followed by this, a team of RS Pura Police Station led by SHO concerned, raided several areas and with the help of human and technical intelligence, arrested the third accused today.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
