Third Front condemns Jammu attack

SRINAGAR, Sept 27: The members of proposed Third Front today condemned the twin attacks in Samba and Hiranagar area of Jammu region.
In a joint statement issued here today, the members said it seemed the terrorist attack was aimed at obstructing the peace talks between the leadership of India and Pakistan.
“We strongly condemn terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. We express our heartfelt sympathies to the families of all those who fell victim to the cowardly acts of violence in Jammu yesterday,” they said, adding that it is imperative that these senseless acts of violence should not deter the two countries India and Pakistan from pursuing a path to a better future for their people.
The Third Front members who issued the statement included Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami State Secretary CPI (M), Hakim Mohammad Yasin Chairman PDF and MLA, Sheikh Abdul Rehman former MP and State President Samajwadi Party, Abdul Rashid Kabuli former MP and Chairman JKNDF, Muzaffar Shah Senior Vice President ANC, ID Khajuria president International Democratic Party, Abdul Rehman Tukru State Secretary CPI and Sanjay Saraf National Youth President Lok Janshakti Party.
They urged the leaderships of India and Pakistan that efforts made by the forces inimical to peace should not become an impediment in talking finding out solutions to the problems through dialogue. They said that the real strength lies in pursuing the process of dialogue and in no case should we oblige those who want to derail it.
