Three absconders nabbed

RAMBAN, Dec 13: Chanderkot police nabbed three absconders, who were evading their arrest since long.
As per police spokesman, a special team from police station Chanderkot developed inputs regarding the presence of some absconders at Valley and raided at their residences.
During raids, the absconder escaped and moved towards Jammu. As nakas were established on NHW-44, a truck bearing registration number JK22A-0061 was stopped.
During checking, the absconders were found proceeding towards Jammu by taking lift in the said vehicle. The accused identified as Raees Ahmed, son of Gulam Nabi, Zakir Ahmed Lone alias Nikka, son of Mohammad Afzal Lone and Fayaz Ahmed alias Nikka Kabootar, son of Gul Mohammad Ganai, all residents of Sangas, Kulgam were arrested.
They were involved in a case registered under FIR Number 14/11 under Section 379/34 RPC and were evading their arrest since long.
The absconders were produced in the court of JMIC Batote, from where they were further sent to judicial lock up.
Police team led by SHO Chanderkot Inspector Daljeet Singh made the arrest under the supervision of Additional SP Ramban Mushtaq Choudhary and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
