JAMMU, Nov 15: Gandhi Nagar Police arrested three persons for assaulting and injuring a man near Shastri Nagar here today.
As per police sources, a man Rajvir Singh along with his two associates restrained and beat a man Harmandeep Singh, son of Baljit Singh, a resident of Gadigarh near Shastri Nagar and escaped from the spot.
The victim was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he was responding to the treatment, when last reports came in.
On getting information about the incident, a case under FIR Number 305/2021 under Sections 341, 323 and 34 IPC was registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and hunt was launched to nab the accused.
A team from Police Station Gandhi Nagar led by SHO Inspector Bharat Sharma arrested Rajvir Singh and two associates.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
