JAMMU, Apr 18: City Police arrested three gamblers and recovered Rs 1.95 lakh stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station City led by SHO Inspector Rakesh Sharma under the supervision of SDPO City Sharad Kalu and SP City Kulbir Handa conducted raid and apprehended three gamblers along with Rs 1.95 lakh stake money and playing cards.
The arrested persons were identified as Govind Singh, son of late Tejinder Singh of Partap Garh District Jammu, Abhimanyu Gupta, son of late Rajinder Kumar Gupta of Peer Mitha District Jammu and Karan Gandotra, son of late Naresh Gandotra of Partap Garh District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 19/2022 under Section 3/4 Gambling Act has been registered at Police Station City and investigation has been taken up.
