Three arrested with Rs 5,750 stake money

JAMMU, May 31: Three persons were arrested with Rs 5,750 stake money and instruments used for gambling.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Kanachack conducted raid in open field in Bawa Talab area and arrested three gamblers along with Rs 5,750 stake money and instruments used for gambling.
The arrested persons were identified as Jai, son of Satish Kumar and Kewal Krishan, son of Raghunath, both residents of Bawa Talab and Raman Sharma, son of Rakha Ram of Gurha Singhu Tehsil Marh District Jammu.
In this regard, action under Section 13 Gambling Act has been taken by Kanachack Police.
The arrest and recovery took place under the guidance of SHO Kanachack Inspector Vishav Partap Singh and SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul.
